HERSTORY: Took us two years to get this car as the owner kept leaving for China. Last year while at car week the owner called and said if I was still interested in the car I could have it but I needed to see it before committing. I got back from Monterey and went to see the car and my offer was $20k lower than my previous offer and he accepted as he needed to liquidate to move to China full-time. Patience is a virtue.

1976 Ferrari 308 GTB

HISTORY: 308 GTB is tested by 3-time Ferrari F1 Champion Nikki Lauda, It’s the first generation of mid-engine 8- cylinder, 2-seater Ferrari. Popular Magnum P.I. TV series made this model iconic! The 328 was the final evolution of the 308 GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) that debuted at the 1975 Paris Motor Show. The 328 incorporates several changes that separate it from the final 308 Quattrovalvole models, notably its transversely mid-mounted, fuel-injected all aluminum 90-degree V8 engine, which produces 260 hp. It is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. It does 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 153 mph. To comply with US standards, Pininfarina stylists incorporated collision-worthy bumpers into the design, blending them into the refined surrounding lower bodywork with color-matched pain. The front bumper carried a traditional Ferrari egg-crate grille along with modern composite turn signal/driving lamp clusters.
